More from my time in Chicago. One of the perks of being a dog photographer is obviously all of the great dogs I encounter! But another, is spending time with their pet parents. Dog people are some of the kindest, selfless, most giving people I have ever met and it really is an honor to enter their lives. Rita and Puma are no exception! They live on the magnificent mile in Chicago so we walked around the area to capture Puma in her element. Puma is a Chow Chow Golden Retriever mix and is 10.5 years. Chows are known for being aloof, but boy is she sweet! She was all smiles during our dog session. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that she knows she’s a star in Chicago! She regularly appears on the NBC news and all of the staff love her there.

Also, Rita owns a great clothing company for large breed dogs. Be sure to check out Tailored Dog!
