Dogs and Shoes

This dog session was with one of my favorite people – Elizabeth Broyhill of Monkee’s, a shoe boutique in the Hill Center. Elizabeth is the kind of person who brightens a room with her presence and I love any time I get to spend with her. We had a wonderful morning together catching up and photographing Elizabeth with her dogs. You may remember them from our session last year? Hank and Millie are such sweet pooches and I always get in plenty of laughs when they’re around. They couldn’t be more opposite of each other! I guess that’s the way it goes with brothers and sisters. Enjoy this peek into their photographs.

I just adored these festive Kate Spade sling-backs Elizabeth wore and I wanted to be sure to feature them. How sweet is Hank’s face? He is a Boxer/Lab mix.

And meet sweet Millie, a Bichon Frise. Even though Millie is eleven, don’t you think she looks a young pup here?

Everyone have a great weekend and be sure to drop by Monkees sometime – Nashville’s number one shoe store!

Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- lab mix rescue. Judy suggested I check out this photo on your site and I am so glad I did. It’s whimsical and personal at the same time. Still enjoying the wonderful portraits of our old babies. You made them both look like pups again. Happy Holidays!
