MTPRC 4th Annual Hay Day

This Saturday, if you’re looking to log some volunteer hours in the spirit of the season, here’s a great choice! The Middle Tennessee Pet Resource Center will be traveling around the city on Saturday December 8th from 10a to 2p to distribute hay, blankets, treats, and supplies to chained, penned, and neglected dogs. Unfortunately in Nashville, leaving a dog chained 24/7 is still legal. These pets are often without much shelter or human interaction, so MTPRC is showing them some love.

If you would like to participate here are a couple of options: 1. You can provide MTPRC with an address of a dog in need. 2. You can donate supplies such as hay, straw, blankets, dog toys, dog bowls, or houses. 3. You can volunteer your time on Saturday to help with deliveries. 4. You can donate monetarily. You can do all this by emailing hayday@mtprc.org, or by visiting their website. For more information, you can also check out their facebook page.
