Dog Photographer Nashville, TN – French Bulldogs

Last week I blogged about the Bird’s. They have two french bulldogs, LeRoy and Stogie. Since originally I only shared one photograph, I wanted to return with more. Like my Benny, these Frenchies have several names. Leets and Bogie are their most used nicknames, which I feel are completely fitting. It always cracks me up to see the varying personalities of dogs – and this session did not disappoint! Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Check out the double bubbles that Stogie is making! Loved these.

Wednesdays with Laura – Being Thankful

In two weeks, we will all be preparing for a Thanksgiving feast! It is one of my favorite holidays and although my family is not particularly decorative, I’m considering doing something special this year. I browsed Paper Source’s Thanksgiving decorations because they always provide creativity and inspiration. The “I am Thankful  For” note cards are a sweet idea and encourage everyone to share a bit of Thanks. You could also pass the sealed envelopes around so that everyone reads someone else’s thoughts. If you are feeling very creative, here is a project that will make each guest feel very special! With 35 family members, I’m not sure this is an option for me!

Thanksgiving is a time to give to organizations that help families in need. The Nashville Rescue Mission is collecting 1,000 turkeys to distribute to families. The Nashville-area Salvation Army is holding their annual Thanksgiving Day feast and  need people to donate dinners and volunteer their time. If you want a bit of exercise before the big meal, participate in the 16th Annual Boulevard Bolt, a Thanksgiving Day five-mile run/walk that raises money for the homeless in Nashville. As well, the Second Harvest Food Bank is always accepting food and donations and will help your company, community group, or school organize a food drive.

The Nashville Public Library recently implemented a Food for Fines program to help those struggling to feed their families this holiday season. Through November 24, each canned or packaged food item is worth $1, so pay your fines with food! Of course, if you don’t have fines, you are welcome to donate food too.

On a final note, Adrian Hitt Photography is thankful for all of our readers and clients and hopes everyone has a peaceful holiday!

German Shepherd – Dog Photographer Nashville, TN

Meet Hank. He is an 18-month-old German Shepherd farm dog on a beautiful place south of Franklin. Everyday he goes from farm to farm in Williamson County, living a life many dogs I’m sure would be quite jealous of. His mom runs several local farms and he’s able to join her in her work. This was such a great session as both Hank and Kathy are fantastic company. I loved that Kathy has various art throughout her house of all the dogs she has shared her life with; and I’m so honored she chose dog photography to capture Hank. Enjoy a few favorites! Thanks Kathy for such an enjoyable afternoon.

This porch is great and I wanted to capture the entire story it has to tell.

Kathy has a couple of silos on the property with resident owls. What a great place for a photograph of the both of them!:)
