What will your dog be for Halloween?

In the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to share some pretty awesome (and entertaining) dog costumes I’ve found on the web. If you’ve got a photo of your dog(s) in costume, please send them to Adrian Hitt Photography and we’ll post the best photo on the blog and send your dog a special treat!

Pugs seem to make the best Star Wars characters…

Perfect face for a pirate. The patch might have been too much!

The teeth add quite a scary touch to the costume.

And finally, we’ve got our Super Hero!

I wonder what Adrian has in mind for Benny…

Once you’ve got your dog costume squared away, there are a couple of events where you can show off your creativity. This Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, See Spot Eat is hosting their annual Howl-O-Ween Party with costume contests, music, sweet treats! There will also be adoptable dogs for those looking for a new pup to take home.

Next Wednesday night is Barktoberfest, the final “Rex in the City” event hosted by Loews Vanderbilt Hotel and Nashville Paw. There will be food, drinks, live music, and a costume contest for you and your dog! Visit the website for more details and to purchase tickets.

Enjoy this beautiful day!

A little girl and her puppy – Nashville, TN Dog Photographer

Remember this Yorkie? I’m back with a few more favorites. I had so much fun with this session because I was able to execute several ideas I’ve had running through my head. Maddie and Max are past clients and let me tell you, Maddie is seriously the most fun 4-year-old to hang out with. She kept her mom and me rolling! And Max, well he speaks for himself. I was very close to just putting the red wagon back in my car with Max in it!

And a huge thanks to Courtney Hammons of A Magical Affair for lending me the wagon! She is a fabulous Nashville wedding planner.

Dog Photographer Nashville, TN – Boston Terrier

During this session there was an ongoing joke that Chris and Adrienne were merely props for this photo shoot and that the focus was on Wilson. Well, I can’t say they were wrong, but don’t you think they made lovely props?:)

Also, a huge congrats out to Wilson’s parents for being published in Professional Photographer Magazine this month! So excited for you both. I’ll be back with more photographs of Wilson the Boston Terrier soon!
