French Bulldog

Happy Monday! Today we’d like you to meet French Bulldog Louie. He’s a fun, easy-going little guy who loves to play- with people or other pups! We had a great time hanging out with him and his dog parents, Catherine and Chase. We hope he starts your week off right!

Jessalynn is the studio manager for Adrian Hitt Photography. She coordinates smooth operations behind the scenes and updates the blog on what’s the “woof” in the dog world. A Nashville native, Jess uses her degrees in communications and entrepreneurship to support creative business. When she’s not working, she can be found with paintbrush & power tools tackling home improvement projects, trying new recipes & crafts from Pinterest, and tossing tennis balls in the backyard with the main men in her life- her husband and their rescue dogs, Waffles & Rocco.

Nashville Family Photography Session

We absolutely love seeing our clients and their families grow and change over the years. We’ve had the distinct pleasure to do this with Rebecca and Brad. They came to us several years ago to photograph Bella and Savannah, their black labrador retrievers. Then last year, we got to help them capture their new family addition- their son, Ian. This year, we were thrilled to photograph the whole family and commemorate Ian’s first birthday. It has been amazing to see this sweet family year after year and all the love they share- we cannot believe what a grown up little boy Ian has become in just a year! We’re sure that Bella and Savannah are so happy to have their brother added to the mix and we’re so thankful to have the opportunity to share the joy of this beautiful family!

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- black mouth cur shepherd rescue. Adrian lives in Nashville, Tennessee and travels nationwide to photograph America’s beloved pets.

Superhuman

“If I could be half the person my dog is, I’d be twice the human I am.”

Shih Tzu

Today, meet Shih Tzu Harley. Harley can be a little shy at first, but you’d never know it from our session!  Once this pup warms up to you, Harley is super friendly. We loved capturing him with his dog mom, Catherine (and her rock star boots!). Enjoy!

German Shorthaired Pointer

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and to start the year off, we want to share our friend Faulkner with you! Being a GSP, he had a blast running around outdoors during his shoot and tracking other pups that had been playing in the area.  We love his beautiful coat (and dog mom Amy’s beautiful hair). We just can’t get enough of this sweet face!
