Dog Family Photographer

Today, we have a very special dog family to share with you. I first met David and Stacey when their oldest daughter P was about seven months old… she is now five! This was my third time to photograph them and I absolutely love when I’m invited to capture a growing family. They are some of the kindest, warmest, open-hearted people I’ve met and it is evident in their wonderful, loving children. This time, there was the welcomed addition of their son H. He is currently very happy as a Mama’s boy.:)And I can’t forget, their sweet, 12-year-old lab Bailey! Since I last photographed them, their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Sam, has unfortunately passed. Bailey, however, is doing a fantastic job of looking after all the kids and allows them to waller all over him.:)When I walked into their home, Bailey immediately recognized me, and came up to get some pets and a treat (of course)! My time with this family was incredibly special and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Adrian – Thank you so much for again capturing our family so beautifully. We cherish the photos you have taken for us and we are thrilled to add these new ones to our collection. As always, we really appreciate your talent and sweet spirit – very few people could keep up with our energetic crew (with a sprained ankle, nonetheless!) and capture pictures that are genuinely “us” and beautiful at the same time. We are excited for your future endeavors and feel blessed to know you. Thank you, thank you. :)

Old English Sheepdog + Wheaton Terrier

Here are 2 happy brothers from a recent session! Wilby the Wheaton Terrier and Stanley the Sheepdog are like typical brothers. Wilby, the older sibling, is laid back and always aware of his surroundings; meanwhile, Stanley is all about meeting and greeting any new friend who he finds! Stanley had his summer cut recently, and he was happy to show it off. Enjoy a few highlights from their session!

Support Local Pet Businesses with Nashville Paw Readers’ Choice!

The Annual Nashville Paw Readers’ Choice Awards are back! Every year, this local magazine invites its readers and pet lovers in the Nashville community to vote for their favorite Nashville businesses in a variety of pet-friendly categories. Some businesses and locations around town include best vet, best dog park, best dog groomer, and, of course, best pet photographer! We’d love to have your vote this year! Voting only takes a minute and you can do it once a day until July 31st (that means you can cast your ballot up to 43 times!) . This is a great way to wag your tail for the small businesses who look out for you and your pet, so go ahead and show them a little love!

Terrier and Golden Retriever Mixes

It’s a rare occasion that we write about ourselves on the blog, but today seemed like a good day to do that! After seeing so many wonderful photos taken this spring, I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the mini sessions in May. Rocco is a 5 year old Golden retriever mix rescue- he’s so laid back he can be aloof, but Adrian did an awesome job of getting his attention. Rocco’s brother, Waffles, is a 3 year old terrier rescue who never met a stranger. Both of these pups, and their dog dad Omari and I, had a wonderful time at our session and are absolutely thrilled with these beautiful images capturing our family. Here are a few favorites!

What precious pups!

More Yorkies!

You may remember Emmy + Louie from our first mini sessions back in April. They had such a great time at their session with their parents Carli and Jim, that they decided to come back for our May sessions! Here are a few of our favorites from their latest shoot!
