Welsh Corgis

Lucy and Pippin are 2 fun-loving Welsh Corgis. Their dog parents, Camille and John, have provided their 2 pups with all the fun a dog could desire- they have a lovely home with room to run, roam, and play. When they get tired, they can always take a break and say hi to the horses! I had a great time at their session, and Lucy and Pippin were all smiles. Enjoy a few shots from their day!

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- black mouth cur shepherd rescue. I had such a blast on their property, Tammy. I thought you might especially like the one of them with their horses :)

A New Dog on the Block

You may remember this sweet family from the past- we’ve taken photos of them when there were two Labrador Retriever siblings, when they introduced a sweet baby boy to the mix, and even late last year. Getting to see a family grow and change over the years means sharing their joys and sorrows. We were so sorry to hear that Savannah crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this spring. We were also so excited to meet their newest family addition- a 4 month old Great Dane puppy named Elly May! It was a beautiful day for play with Elly May, Bella, and Ian, and their parents Rebecca and Brad. And, in true form, we even had a cameo of Bob the cat! Here are a few favorites from their session!

Beagle

We are so excited to share a very special story today. Lily is a 15 year old Beagle who was entered in our Old Dogs, New Pics mini session drawing. Lily’s dog mom, Christie, is a vet tech at Animalia in Franklin TN and was super excited about the prospect of having some photos of Lily. However, Christie was a little worried that Lily wouldn’t be able to wait for the session; 8 months ago, Lily was sadly diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer. A sweet soul heard of Christie’s story and graciously contacted us to gift Lily a session of her own! We were so honored to be able to capture their sweet bond in photos, and we hope you enjoy a few highlights from this special session!

Commercial Pet Photographer – Nashville Lifestyles 2013

Eek! I’m so excited to write this. The May 2013 Nashville Lifestyles Magazine is on shelves now, and we think it turned out great! You may remember the Cover Dog Search we announced in March, and Bella was the lucky dog who won! In addition, nine other dogs were chosen to be featured in the magazine’s feature spread. I’m so excited to share the photos from the shoot at Cheekwood. This is the fourth year I’ve shot the cover for this issue and it’s always such a great time. (Thanks to Robin at Come.Sit.Stay for providing the doggie wardrobe!) In addition to the feature fashion spread, the top neighborhoods in Nashville are also showcased. You can pick up the magazine at your local Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Target, Kroger or book store.

Schnauzers

Peyton and Paxton are siblings who had a blast during their session. Both pups had a great time in the park with their moms, Charla and Janet. And when playing with your family, what’s more fun than having a friend come along too? Tobi is Paxton’s blonde best friend, and was so excited to be included in the day. With the beautiful weather, everyone had a great time. Here are a few sneak peeks of their day!
