Commercial Dog Photographer – Brown Dog Foundation

I recently met up with the wonderful woman, Carol Smock, who is the founder of Brown Dog Foundation. Brown Dog exists to offer pet owners in temporary financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable, life-threatening condition in order to restore the quality of life for pet and owner. I am so honored that she chose Adrian Hitt Photography to capture her with her two fur babies, Toffee and Goldie. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Also, because I believe in the good work that she does, during the months of April and May we will donate $50 from every dog and children’s photography session to Brown Dog. We can all play a part in saving pet’s lives!

Enjoy my favorite for now!

Dog Photographer – Mo the Blue Tick Dog

I love that I get to be a dog photographer for a profession. Dog sessions are always a lot of fun, filled with surprises and I often walk away with a funny story. I first met Amy and Mo at the Dog Days Festival in Nashville. Later, Amy called to book a session. At the beginning of our session, we decided it’d be best to put on Mo’s harness. I was holding his leash while Amy grabbed his harness and would you believe that he wrangled out of his collar in no time and took off in a dead sprint across the campus?! At this point I hadn’t even set up one photo and there I was holding his leash and collar in hand. To make a long story short, Amy and I spent the next 5 minutes chasing him and fortunately we were able to corner him with the help of another person. After his leash and harness were back on, I couldn’t help but laugh. Dog photography definitely keeps me on my toes and gives me my workout! The rest of the session went fantastic. Enjoy these highlights from our time together.

My favorite.

Such a handsome boy.

So stoic.

The day was wonderful even with the added excitement! On top of the beautiful pictures you captured of my man Mo, we both have an excellent story to tell for the day!

I look forward to having another season in the future, only next time we will stick to a fenced in area!

I lost Mo in June of this year, the fact that I have all of these gorgeous pictures from this day warms my heart. I’ll be excited to have you take some pictures of a new dog once I get one. Thank you again for your patience and these lasting memories!

Oh, Amy, I am so sorry. I know this had to be such a difficult time for you. Mo was a fantastic dog! So glad I got to meet him.

Nashville Dog Photographer – Bo “First Dog”

I’m sure you have heard by now that there is a dog at the White House! His name is Bo and he is a Portuguese Water Dog. If you’d like to see him with the First family, here’s a video from the White House’s website. Happy Friday!

Nashville Dog Photographer – Goldendoodle

When I first started my photography business, I photographed this beautiful girl as a puppy. Getting to photograph Molly again, this time with her parents, absolutely made my week! We had the most fun and I have another story to add to my running list of doggy tails. For now, enjoy this sneak peek and I will soon return with more and Molly’s funny story!

Nashville Dog Photographer – Benny turns 3!

This past week we celebrated Benny’s 3rd birthday. We had a fun day loving on Benny and he enjoyed opening his doggy gifts.:)(I’ll later post a video of him playing with one of his new toys) Brian and Benny share the same birthday so I thought it’d be appropriate to share photographs of them together. We have so much fun with this little guy. Who knew he’d change our lives the way he has!

Benny runs like a greyhound – this is probably his favorite activity only second to squirrel and chipmunk chasing!

Ooh, feels good, right? He loves his tummy rubs.

My two boys. Love them.
