Old Dogs New Pics Sneak Peek

Our hearts melt when we see these sweet senior faces from our Old Dogs New Pics event. We just had to share a few more of our friends with you. Enjoy!

Jessalynn is the studio manager for Adrian Hitt Photography. She coordinates smooth operations behind the scenes and updates the blog on what’s the “woof” in the dog world. A Nashville native, Jess uses her degrees in communications and entrepreneurship to support creative business. When she’s not working, she can be found with paintbrush & power tools tackling home improvement projects, trying new recipes & crafts from Pinterest, and tossing tennis balls in the backyard with the main men in her life- her husband and their rescue dogs, Waffles & Rocco.

Raising Cats and Dogs

This family is made up of sweet dogs and cats who all found their forever homes through their loving mom. Taryn has a huge heart for animals and has rescued each one of her darling fur children and brought them into her family. Winston is a 3 year old Lab Mix and his sister Lola is a Black Lab Mix. When they moved to their new home, they added Billy and Walt, 2 stray cats, to the fold. Here are a few special shots from their session!

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- black mouth cur shepherd rescue. Adrian lives in Nashville, Tennessee and travels nationwide to photograph America’s beloved pets.

Yoshi, A Good Friend

The one best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master.

BEN HUR LAPMAN

Earlier this week, friends of ours had to do what every pet parent wishes to avoid – to hug their cherished companion for the last time. Yoshi unexpectedly passed this week from a newly discovered cancer and it saddens my heart to know he is no longer here to brighten lives. He was a young six-years-old and an incredibly loyal, handsome and smart pup. Yoshi loved playing ball, running with his mom and dad and his favorite past time was visiting the local swimming hole at his dog park (pictured last). He is deeply missed, but we’re grateful that he is no longer in pain. Rest in peace, sweet Yoshi.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful pup. So sad for them. It’s so hard losing a pet.

Nashville Pet Photographer

Libby is a sweet 3 year old Dobie Mix. She had a bit of a rough start early in life; she was hit by a car and broke her pelvis. Luckily, once she was rescued and at the vet for care, dog mom Kristy found her and knew she would be a part of the family. Libby is very bright and athletic-  she  is positively obsessed with tennis balls. She had a great time playing on land and in the water during her session. Here are a few highlights from her day!

Old Dogs New Pics

Our Old Dogs New Pics mini session event happened May 11th. We had a wonderful afternoon meeting so many sweet pups and their parents! It was so heartwarming to hear all of the different stories- from dogs that had been with their parents since they were puppies, to late in life rescues, all of our sweet Old Dogs have found their forever homes with parents who love them immensely. Of course, we can’t just keep these precious faces to ourselves- we want you to see a few of the dogs we got to spend time with a couple of weeks ago! Stay tuned for more:)
