Adrian Hitt - April 5, 2010 - 12:19 pm

Hi Nadja,

Be sure to have google reader set for http://www.adrianhitt.com and not adrianhitt.com/blog. Let me know if that doesn’t work!

Nashville Paw – Wednesdays with Laura

The April/May issue of Nashville Paw caught my eye with it’s green colors and it’s green content. This is the 4th Anniversary issue of the magazine and it is filled with ways that you and your pet can lead a greener lifestyle – product tips, local green stores, holistic health, and more. Pick up a complimentary copy or subscribe to this wonderful magazine that has been supporting animal rescue and welfare since 2006!

One event that I was drawn to was the Animal Care Expo hosted by The Humane Society of the United States on May 12 to 15. And, this year the expo is in Nashville – how convenient! The expo is a tremendous educational opportunity for people who are interested in animal care and control, sheltering, rescue and emergency services. Check out the variety of workshops and register today to receive the early bird rate.

And, on page 13 of Nashville Paw there is are a couple of coupons provided by our friends at Two Good Dogs. These delicious Granola Barks will surely brighten your dog’s day and now you can double the treat!

Enjoy this beautiful day!

Laura is the studio manager for Adrian Hitt Photography. She keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and frequents the blog often with her tips on what’s going on in the dog world. In addition to her work at here, Laura is exploring her interests in urban and environmental planning and enjoys sewing, paper crafts, gardening, photography and cooking. Laura lives in East Nashville and one day hopes to adopt a dog as sweet as Benny!

A Basset Hound Named Elmo – Pet Photography

Who doesn’t love a Basset Hound?! Their long ears, short legs, beautiful markings, long bodies and droopy eyes. They are just too much for words! I photographed Elmo this past weekend and let me tell you, he is one loved little guy! His mom, Elizabeth, is crazy about him and he about her. I love meeting other dog people who are head-over-heels for their pooches. (It helps me justify the things we do for Benny:)) We had a super fun afternoon that was centered completely around Elmo – and Elizabeth, I loved your company. Can’t wait to see you all again!

Probably my favorite from the session!

Who can resist Elmo’s ears? Not me!

Cute little body…

And a smile from Elmo:)

I love Elmo’s expression on the first one and his ears are to die for in the second one. Knowing other people are so into their doggies also makes me feel better by knowing that I am not alone in spoiling my puppy.
